Comic book ‘Waiting For Sunrise” in Japanese language

“Waiting for Sunrise” (陽はまた昇る) to be distributed in Japan
Crowd Funding in Japan successfully raised fund to print 5,000 copies of Japanese translation version of Cause Vision’s educational comic book “waiting for Sunrise” .

With collaboration with ECPAT/STOP Japan and NOT FOR SALE JAPAN,  the campaign through Japanese online crowd funding platform ReadyFor  we raised fund to print and distribute 5,000 copies for free distribution in Japan.

Japan is regarded as “predator” “destinaiton” or “demand side” in terms of Human Trafficking.  Japan has been rated as tire 2 in US State Department’s Trafficking In Person Report every year.

“Waiting for Sunrise” is created for Thai children to learn about the risks of human trafficking. However, there is an episode of a girl sold to Japanese sex industry.  Thus, two Japanese NPOs agreed that “Waiting for Sunrise” can be a very useful tools to tell Japanese how Japanese  end up being a  part of the human trafficking.  ECPAT/STOP Japan and NOT FOR SALE JAPAN are Japanese offshoots  of both leading international anti-trafficking NPOs.
