MICRO INFORMATION is CHANGE MEDIA
Cause Vision’s mission is to educate people about issues, rooted in our desire to promote social and behavioral change that ultimately leads to improving populations’ well-being.
The role of the media has changed in the last few decades thanks to new technologies and the internet. People have access to more information now than at any other time in human history.
However, there are many people left behind. In spite of these revolutionary changes in the way people obtain information, millions of people throughout the world simply do not have access to it.
Cause Vision believes that even a small piece of information can change lives.
Illiteracy, lack of infrastructure, political censorship, gender discrimination, poverty or just geographic inconvenience are just a few factors which compromise the integrity of all peoples’ rights to their living healthy and safe lives. For example, in some countries, over 40% of the population is illiterate. Many parts of the world still do not have access to dependable electricity. Moreover, populations in need face numerous issues such as poor health and sanitation, human rights violations and environmental sustainability. Consequently, they have no access to the types or amounts information to which we in the developed world are accustomed.
CAUSE VISION produces media and materials to inform and educate communities on these issues directly relevant to them; these materials are conceived and produced to be disseminated among populations most in need of these welfare-enhancing resources. In turn, these materials will be distributed through local organizations that reach out to those communities and educate them.
Cause Vision’s mission is to educate people about such issues, rooted in our desire to promote social and behavioral change that ultimately leads to improving populations’ well-being.
